In keeping with Federal Trade Commission guidance on disclosing the use of artificial intelligence to consumers, this page explains where and how WhiteCoatRecall.com uses AI tools, and what we do to keep that content accurate and trustworthy.
1. Where AI Is Used
Some content on WhiteCoatRecall.com — including draft game questions, answer choices, physician profile summaries, and discovery page write-ups — is generated or assisted by artificial intelligence tools as part of our content production process. AI is used to help draft and organize educational content at the scale required to cover thousands of medical history topics, physicians, and discoveries.
AI is used strictly for content generation — drafting trivia questions, summarizing historical facts, and organizing educational copy. AI is never used to generate medical advice, and no AI system on this Platform provides diagnosis, treatment guidance, symptom checking, or any other clinical output. See our Medical Disclaimer for what the Platform is, and is not, for.
2. Human Review and Source Verification
AI-assisted drafts are not published as-is. Every piece of AI-generated or AI-assisted content on WhiteCoatRecall.com is reviewed against verified historical and scientific sources — including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Encyclopaedia Britannica, and other established medical history and educational publications — before it is published. Content that cannot be verified against a trusted source is not published. This review process checks factual accuracy (correct dates, names, and outcomes), and confirms that content stays within our educational and entertainment scope rather than drifting into medical advice territory.
3. What AI Is Not Used For
- AI is not used to generate medical advice, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or any content a person could use to make a health decision about themselves;
- AI is not used to impersonate a real person or to generate fabricated quotes attributed to real physicians or historical figures;
- AI is not used to make automated decisions about individual users, such as account restrictions or score validation — those systems are deterministic, rule-based Cloudflare Workers, not AI models.
4. Ongoing Commitment
As our content library grows toward our long-term goal of thousands of educational pages, we will continue to rely on a combination of AI-assisted drafting and human source verification, and we will keep this disclosure current as our tools and processes evolve. If you believe any content on the Platform is inaccurate, please let us know using the contact information below so we can review and correct it.
